So instead of headlines like "White woman does **something racist**", CNN just labels the victims but is strangely silent on the perpetrators. (Same thing they did in their article about violence and murder directed at black trans men....avoided who was doing most of the killing and beating almost entirely.)
By now, you'd have to be blindly partisan not to realize what that means.
You can then tell from information in the article that the racial attacks were coming from black guys (either for certain or high probability due to the interaction) but that is moot other than to point out the double standard in reporting.
What's more important is that it appears that these examples were public transit encounters with people with likely mental issues. In short, it has nothing to do with race and everything to do with crazy. Mentally ill people often latch onto hot topics or popular culture like John Hinkley Jr. for example)
But CNN makes money with this clickbait, especially by staying just vague enough on some key details to serve up some red meat to it's target demographics.
In short, don't buy into racial divisions that people sell for votes (R or D) nor profit (news media in particular). And remember, it's not that news articles even have to be wrong, you can craft a narrative just by picking certain news stories to promote nationally and which ones to not. (ie. If an illegal immigrant shoots some people you can bet Fox will be all over it as it sells well to their audience. Being fair not to just pick on CNN.)

100% agree. I just happen to catch CNN more than the others so I notice it but am aware that the others and FOX are all doing their own version and have corporate profit goals.
