Surprising that 2nd Amendment supporters are not alarmed at this violation of the 4th Amendment.

One would think that if you were all about the right to bear arms to protect you and your family from government forces, you would also be against illegal search and seizure by government forces.

Puzzling.
Im not suprised at all because I find most of them unprincipled and/or logically inconsistent.

Is that a law or criteria of Greyhounds own choosing?

Interesting here it says ID is not necessary for Greyhound that’s why they are concerned that Greyhound is interlining with Amtrak. Though Amtrak in practice seems only require IDs for those purchasing/picking up actual Amtrak tickets, from agents/conductors. Doubt they will demand IDs from Greyhound passengers holding Interline greyhound tickets as it’s not in their own system anyways.
an agent

Though will call Greyhound tickets can be a different matter. However one can create a passport in alternative from what I read.

Having said that I do find Greyhound a very bad choice with recent incidents, it appears people could had easiky gotten away with murder and other serious crimes onboard, as other passengers/driver might not be brave to detain the propatrator until the police arrive and the often end up illegally disembarking where they could easily had escaped without a trace. Though I may still choose Greyhound over Flixbus which seems worse.

In other words, Greyhound knows that lots of illegal immigrants ride their buses.

Every vehicle is subject to search at a border check point up to 100 miles from the border. This includes private property vehicles like semi trailers and buses. This is all day every day at every checkpoint. Coming from Yuma AZ there are two I go through every single time I travel there.

Exactly! It would effect their bottom line profits because many illegal aliens would stop using Greyhound as a means of transportation as they wouldn't want to be detected.

There are still hundreds of thousands coming through our border every year illegally and without visas so we are to ignore that problem for the visa over stayers? How many times do we have to tell you and yours that the good physical barriers have been very effective in stopping the border jumpers before you knock your stupid nonsense off that walls won't stop anyone? Geezus!!!!!
