Would show up to court in his pajamas trying for the crazy plea.

It will be the greatest miracle since Ernest Saunders, who was sentenced to five years' imprisonment for insider dealing, was released after 10 months as he was believed to be suffering from Alzheimer's disease, which is incurable. Saunders subsequently made a full recovery.

As for the mob guy I think you mean Vinnie "The Chin" Gigante also known as the 'The Oddfather', who was boss of the Genovese crime family from 1981 to 2005.

Sorry but I have to defend Weinstein. Granted that he's a scumbag, but I'm almost rooting for him to get off.

Did you read the stories these women were telling? Even assuming that everything they said was true - I don't see how they have much of a case. I have zero sympathy for them.

They willfully dated and had sex with a nasty old man that they weren't attracted to for the purpose of advancing their career in hollywood, acknowledged that most of the sex was consentual - but state that on a few occasions when they showed up to have sex with him, he went too far and forced some sex acts.

They should have been out hustling - going on auditions - rather than trying to sleep with a nasty old hollywood mogul.

If this is what "mee too" is about, it's not looking good.

Yup! They voluntarily sat on the casting couch...everyone KNOWS what that is!

I'm sure some did, but I believe some were assaulted by him.

Again, a comment that says more about the poster than it does about Harvey. But I'm sure he appreciates the undying support...

We have a two tiered system of justice. A person who is rich and connected with the Democrat left political/media/academia establishment is highly unlikely to formally be held accountable for their crimes or their bad behavior.

The next time we see one of these guys pay for their offenses will be the first time, at least going back MANY years now. This system is deeply corrupt and is in need of substantial reform.

So who is the other tier?

Epstein paid the ultimate price.

It is incredibly difficult to put away the rich and powerful. The best lawyers and friends in high places means any mistake on the part of the prosecutor or the police can get them off. A Prosecutor telling a defendant to do something as simple as "put the glove on" without checking the size in advance can change the verdict.
