The opposition to M4All is not about cost or care, it is ideological. Collective=evil. Either that or insurance company profiteers and Wall ST that lives off of their profits opposes it.

From a policy perspective, it makes sense, but most of the opposition can't debate the policy honestly because of ideology or greed. Someone close to me who works on Wall ST and is on the right ideologicaly admitted it .....Wall St's fear is losing the profits from the insurance industry is a major motivation against this policy.

I do not consider that to be freedom or liberty.
The wife and I haven't been "employer" sponsored for our healthcare for about 6 years now. Sure, it would be awesome to not have to pay that $675 monthly premium but not on the backs of others.

We might luck out if Bernie wins, our income is under where he changes the tax bracket, and 4% of our income comes in roughly $2k under what we pay now. Now, if my wife's employer decides to throw in the towel and close up shop because it is going to cost him so much more under Bernie's plan and she loses her job...well that won't be so good.

What do you think the alternative is? The status quo? As someone who has lived both under our sytem and a so-called socialist system, I can tell you that my personal experience under the latter was much 'freer' with more personal choice in doctors and options as well as being significantly cheaper.

One only has to do the comparative analysis to see that our system is seriously flawed. It neither delivers care to us at a reasonable cost, nor does it deliver care to all people. This is a no brainer.

get the politicians, the bureaucrats and their lobbyists out of it.
Your health care should be between you and the person/s providing the actual service.

Can't confirm how accurate it is, but so far , know one can seem to predict exactly what the costs will be...so, it's like a big roll of the dice.

According to this, those make $2 million to $10 million get taxed at 50% , over that 52%

$2 million, isn't really that far from being out of the middle class. This group will be where the bulk of the "free" programs will be paid for.

Very sketchy numbers in the first post. The basis of the Sanders plan is expanding the 2.9% payroll tax to 7.5% in lieu of the health insurance premium ... until we find out that there are substantial out-of-pocket costs that Medicare A will not cover. Medicare B relies on premiums. Medicare and Medicaid are mostly run by a cartel of private insurers piggybacking on the federal claims database. There will still be a market for private insurance.

Sanders is probably going to win the Democratic nomination. He essentially got an endorsement from the CIA through their fake Russia-meddling claim. They put him on notice that they would run the same type of campaign against him that they ran against Trump. Sanders played along by issuing a "warning" to the "Russians". That rules out the fake collusion accusations.
