I don't care what your "studies" concluded. The LCP happened. Doctors killed people needlessly. And there is no way I would turn over my healthcare to leftists who would do ANYTHING to prop up their failed ideas.

186,000,000 Americans do not want their private insurance cancelled. Go ahead, call them selfish for wanting to keep it. Go ahead, don't be afraid.

It was an international study, and praised the UK's “extensive integration of palliative care into the NHS”, as well as comprehensive national policies, a strong hospice movement, and “deep community engagement” on the issue.

The Liverpool Care plan was an option in the last hours of someones life but was withdrawn many years agom as an option.

In reality the NHS doesn't make such decisions, the patient and the patients next of kin make the decisions, and hospices and care homes are independent (private) and are not part of the NHS, whilst Macmillan Nurses, Marie Curie Nurses and other such orgaisations, that deal with the terminally ill in a community setting are also not part of the NHS. There are however also teams of NHS General Nurses, GP's (Local Doctors), Social Services and numerous specialist support workers in every community.

It happened. Your people did it. An option in the last hours? YOUR BUREAUCRATS DECIDED IT WAS THE PATIENT'S LAST HOURS!!!! Don't try to sugarcoat it now and it's not going to be memory-holed either. The LCP was applied to thousands of British seniors who didn't have to die but who were deemed to expensive to receive further care. Medical care is a finite resource and it will be rationed and there is NO WAY I am going to let some leftist dullard in an office determine what my ration is going to be.

I don't call them selfish, I call them stupid. They would rather have to pay a several thousand dollar deductible before anything even gets covered, and then have to pay coinsurance and/or copays on top of that. What's the damn point of even having insurance at that rate???

LOL. Wrong. You must have an Obamacare policy, that's the structure they use. It's almost worthless insurance. Most employer provided health insurances reasonable premiums and deductibles, low co-pays, and a maximum out of pocket threshold.
