I would definitely expect a significant market pullback if Sanders is even nominated much less elected.

^^^This. Executive Orders because many items won't pass congress.

Congress on both sides likely would agree on an INFRASTRUCTURE BILL. Fix bridges and roads and airports that are in bad shape. Win win for everyone.

MAYBE ADD OPTIONAL Plan of MEDICARE for 55+ and keep private health insurance available also: Congress might (probably not) allow a Medicare option for those that want it, for those aged 55 and over. Bernie said this would be the early steps for Medicare For All. This option (only for those that want it) is similar to Pete Buttigieg's proposal. So I can possibly see the option insurance available for the first age group, maybe getting past congress. And if it does well, maybe a couple years later reducing the age limit to 45 years. This is Bernies plan too - start with option Medicare plan (only if you want it) for age 55, then later lower the limit to age 45. Phase it in. So maybe congress allows the early phases but only as an optional plan, while keeping private and employer provided health insurance in place. I DON'T see congress passing Medicare For All even if Bernie was a 2 term president. Even if it's a Democratic controlled house and senate. Most Dems in congress don't support Medicare for All. Adding Medicare as an option is more realistic, in phases, and this might not even pass congress.

END TRADE WAR: I think Bernie said he would immediately end the trade war. He'd revert tariff's back to how they were before. This is basically reducing taxes by 25% on many items Americans purchase. Farmers would benefit greatly when Bernie stops the trade war. Regular Americans will benefit too. This doesnt need to be passed by congress.

There has been no 25% increase in items that American's purchase. So that part is nonsense. It IS clear that more people are working now than they have in the last 50 years because of those tariffs. Bernie won't touch that.

Don't count on it. There is something going on here. Nevada is not California. Bernie got very close to a MAJORITY there.

I thought people learned their lesson with the inequality built into Obamacare. Perhaps some did, but this M4A nonsense will be continuously pushed by people who scored cheap health O-care insurance policies at the cost of other people whose monthly premiums were like having a second mortgage. No thanks.

LOL. Only sheep would vote for this, and unfortunately, there seem to be no shortage of non-thinking citizens in the US.
And the assumption it’s $2000 in tax hikes but $7000 in savings is just that - an assumption.

I’m still waiting for Obamacare’s promised $2500 a year savings.

What would likely happen is a $7000 tax hike and $2000 in savings that never eventuate. But never fear, everyone here - legal or illegal - gets free college and free healthcare.

I love the 25% increase argument. That implies that a $100 pair of Nikes becomes $125.

In reality the landed cost of that pair of shoes is $12.50 instead of $10, so the real increase is from $100 to $102.50.

Right on that. Now explain to Waldo how tariffs have actually cost American jobs while raising prices that 2.5 percent.

It's amazing the BS they love to throw out as fact. The inflation rate in the last 2 years has been lower than it was the 2 years prior to that. Just 2.5% or 1.25%/year.

Almost as amazing as the bs you throw out. In September 2019 Moody’s estimated the tariffs had cost 300000 jobs
