Sanders released his plans for how his ponsie scheme will work to pay for his free programs.

I think the Bernie supporters should take a second , or even third look at their candidate.
As the article states, "do the math", it just doesn't add up.

The source is not in question here, mathematical facts are facts.

Bob.
The only "math" important to his base is "free".

The Bernie Clause: using other people's money.

A recent meta-analysis finds that 22 studies on Medicare for All agree that it saves money over the status-quo. Right-wing Mercatus Center finds 2 trillion in savings over 10 years by switching to single-payer. That's the a mathematical/empirical reality that Trump cannot contest.

It's true that Bernie has been vague on other elements of his platform; I'd personally like to see advocating for a reduction in the military budget to boost social-welfare. But, his lack of knowledge about the cost of policy is hardly unique to him, or the Democratic party. "Numbers guy" Paul Ryan said tax cuts would reduce the deficit. He was wildly wrong.

In general, we ought to encourage more economists and policy experts from academia to consult candidates on their plans.

If Bernie just taxes the rich more, he can possibly pay for everything.

If not, he can just increase govt budget to greater heights than even Trump.

At least Bernie is honest about liking social democracy.
You need to learn the definition of socialism.

If they live close enough to a hospital in Canada that does not get lots of turnover, then that is just fortunate circumstance.

If their local US hospital cannot treat them sooner, then they live a heavily populated portion of USA. In more heavily populated areas of Canada, the service is slower.
