I mean it sounds nice, but kind of accentuates that they are here to annihilate each other.

And here they come out. Bernie has obviously mastered the art of waving. Not Steyer, he has this nerdish, low hand little wave. Tom, you have spent hundreds of millions of dollars on this and not hired anybody to tell you what kind of subliminal message some simple moves are sending to the audience and how powerful it can be. You were right on the two occasions you got the chance to speak but nobody is listening. Ask yourself why.

Moderators could use some kind of training. But it is not all on them. I remember Andrew Yang had his mic muted on two debates. It is pretty awful but should have happened on THIS debate, because everyone, except Joe, was stepping over corpses to grab the mic and keep it in their hands as long as possible. Bernie is the only one I can't really blame for it. This was all go at Bernie night.

The audience was bought and paid for by DNC and Buyberg. It is so painfully obvious that I expect many normal Democrats to just leave the party, disgusted. Bloomer seems to have prepared better for this one.

Flying high on the wings of the last debate, Liz made a mistake. You can't really attack someone, even if it is notorious Bloomer, based on he said she said type of stuff. Because, in this case, he can vehemently deny, as he did, and she comes across as someone who is presuming his guilt based on incomplete info. Which she did. With so much to attack Bloomer about – and nobody seems to be aware of his relentless war on vaping disguised as a set of philanthropic actions and the massive damage this is doing to smokers and vapers - with a whole list of that and other bad things he has done, looking for a suspicious kitchen sink to throw at him shows a lack of clarity.

It being bought, the audience clapped for Bloomer and Joe, and of course, booed Bernie. Has anybody in these debates ever substantially challenged Bernie, say, on Free college for all and Federal job guarantee. I don't mean slap a socialist or communist label on him, but has anybody delivered a succinct and clear explanation as to why it wouldn't work and what would certainly be the unintended consequences. There is definitely room for critique there. But nobody seems to have time to do it in this predatory format. I didn't watch every debate and all of this one, and therefore am genuinely curious about it.

Not that I'm a fan of rePete, but he finally effectively dispelled the myth of the only wine-caveman on the stage. I don’t even blame him for the episode. Why not collecting 2800 dollars from rich folks, when Bloomer is buying people and whole organizations left and right, both figuratively and literally. And if there is any other sense, he would be buying them in that other sense, too.

Out of her Midwestern habitat, Amy is becoming irrelevant, fast. That’s why 15 minutes passed before she was allowed to say anything. Now, this used to be more Yang thing than hers. She used to speak much more than she was worth in polls. I detect a certain level of desperation in her and Pete's performance tonight.

People are divided in their assessment of this debate. Some say its a dumpster fire. The others are more prone to characterizing it as a trainwreck. I see it as a dumpster fire on a trainwreck.

Can SNL do anything with it - I doubt it. There is this point when comedy is left without a job. Because the real comedy is playing out in front of our very eyes. Like the best comedic stuff out there, it has a strong component of tragedy lurking. This is all so grotesque by itself that you just have nothing left to make a parody of.
Yep. That was clear as day. Sorry, Bloomberg isn't even on the ballot in South Carolina, so I hardly think all of the applauding we saw for his otherwise weak performance was the result of people who naturally agreed with his positions. The question is how much were these "supporters" paid to be there

That's fair. And I love that we can disagree without being disagreeable! I won't be voting for any of those Dems in the general election, though I am supporting Bernie on Super Tuesday as I live in an open primary state where the GOP has officially canceled its primary

Biden's campaign is on life support. And winning South Carolina won't be enough to resuscitate it. No, he'd have to win convincingly, and I'm not even sure that he'll win the damn thing.

Have you been following the effort by some SC state GOP leaders to get Republicans to vote for Sanders?

Me too.

I voted for Hillary as part of "Operation Chaos" in 2008 against Barack Obama in the primary and now I am eagerly looking forward to voting for Bernie Sanders on Tuesday.

I am 'Feeling the Bern' here in Texas, where the polls are close between Sanders and Biden.

All you righties should get out and vote for Bernie if you live in a state with an "Open" primary.

Whatever happened to the pride of meeting your contractual obligations and earning your own home? (Maybe they'll have to start with a small townhouse, or even an apartment-converted-to-condo, in a so-so area of town.)
Free, free, free. Gimme, gimme, gimme. Those of us struggling on SSA, a few retirement accounts and a home business would like $15,000 to reroof our home, get that water filter system and update the mechanicals.

LOL!!!!!!!! Sorry I can't rep you again.

Sleepy joe was wrong again, but you traffic issues are due to road construction and repairs

Sad but true!

I've talked to our, and some friend's, grand-kids. Brilliant but naive and dumb as hell when it comes to politics.

No school teaches civics, the Bill of Rights, the Constitution and Amendments, economics, etc

I am so glad that MrsM and I are at this end of our lives.

When he said something about rising from the ashes of 911 I almost puked.
