Actually it is, he was just supposed to get permission first.

The solution is to expel her or transfer her to a school for kids with problems to keep the "normal" people safe and provide a good learning environment for those willing to learn. If there was a 3 strikes for physically attacking people or causing a huge disruption I'm guessing she would have already been gone.

6 year olds, so dangerous... they should have sent swat teams or even the military...

Default Body Cam Captures 6-Year-Old’s Tearful Pleas During Arrest

Really need better trained LEO.

Quote:
A police officer’s body camera shows a 6-year-old Florida girl crying and begging officers not to arrest her as one fastens zip ties around her wrists at a charter school.

The video that Kaia Rolle’s family shared with the Orlando Sentinel and other media outlets Monday shows the girl being arrested in September for kicking and punching staff members at her Orlando charter school.

He wasn't being aggressive with her and actually seemed pretty gentle in how he talked to her and handled her. I've seen officers go ape **** and act completely out of line in dealing with children and the elderly or anyone they lose their tempers with. If the kid has behavioral issues, its blame the parents first, then blame the kid. Then maybe the school or society. Really it should be easy for the school to just expel her and let the parents pony up the dough for private schooling. If a public school expels a child, the parents should be forced to pay for private schooling. If they can't afford it, their tax refunds should be taken as partial payment automatically.

Crying was heard, but no tears were actually seen.

This^.

If a 6 year old girl is too out of control for elementary school staff to handle (maybe school rules are too PC and staff fear reprimand/lawsuits for handling it the way it should be handled) then the school calls the police, what do they expect the police to do? Take all the measures school staff should have taken in the first place?

Putting a little kid in cuffs and put in a car after the kid has physically assaulted school staff and other children could also be one of those "scared straight" tactics that schools used to employ (with parental permission).

This is unique to certain states in the US, as other countries have set ages of criminal responsibility.

Defense of infancy - Wikipedia

In most countries the parents would just be contacted to pick up the child, and there would be a discussion about the childs behaviour.
