It appeared that she had a cape depicting the US Flag as well as the Puerto Rican flag on. Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory. The message that I got was a reminder that PRs are citizens of the U.S.

I could easily have a shirt that has a U.S. Flag as well as a flag of my home state. That doesn't indicate anything.

Describe the one American culture. The food, the music, the dancing.
Obviously English is the main language. So Ill give you that.

But about everything else, describe it.

Why would we need a reminder that Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory and that PR's are citizens of the U.S.? No, she had an ethnic ulterior motive and I described it in another post.

Puerto Rico is still a different country unlike our 50 states who are not.

If you don't know what it is then you must not be an American. As I said, our country and our identifying culture is not Hispanic, Asian, etc. in nature. They are merely minority cultures living among us.

But that ethnicity is an American one considering it’s a territory which makes them American.
Like if Alabama was a territory and they were just repping the AMERICAN TERRITORY OF ALABAMA...

The American culture has more than one subculture. Why are you so bothered by a flag? It's not that serious. It really isn't

Right. Like I said. I could have a cape with the US flag on one side and a Louisiana flag on the other side. That doesn't indicate that I favor one over the other. Louisiana has a unique culture of it's own. Tourist are fascinated.

Once again, Puerto Rico is a different country not a U.S. state.

You need to re-read the post where I explained why JLo displayed the Puerto Rican flag along with the kids in cages display. She had an ethnic ulterior motive. Our identifying American culture isn't a sub-culture. It's our main culture.
