Some of the complaints, which were sent to CNN by FCC officials and first obtained by WFAA, came from parents who felt their children were exposed to a "porno show." Other adults thought the show encouraged sex trafficking.

What is that, .000007% of people complained? I know having their president elected by a minority of people have given some delusions of grandeur but that’s ridiculous.
LOL
It was a little risque but what did these parents think Shakira and JLo were going to wear, pantsuits?
No, but they could have dressed a bit more modestly realizing that kids would also be watching the show. Actually, it was their antics on stage that was the most offensive.

Those were only the ones who spoke up and were reported on. This has nothing to do with electing the president either. Let's not turn this topic into a political issue and just another attempt to attack Trump and his supporters. I'm sure there were plenty of Democrat parents that objected to this half time show also.

Those 1,300 folks had the power to avoid the halftime show if they found it offensive. Just change the channel. Or even turn off the TV. And when halftime is over, change it again to watch the rest of the game. They act like they were forced to watch something they found objectionable. Personal responsibility. Take some.

When you don't have the actual talent to keep the audience engaged, you reduce your "act" to sex.
You would never see Whitney Houston, Gladys Knight, or Celine Dion doing this.
It's been pretty obvious for years that the ultimate aim of Halftime has been to push and push and push and push the envelope till we finally get treated to a show consisting of an orgy, a pole dance, and the donkey act.
I sometimes wish they would just do it and be done with it.
Because after that. Where would they go from there?
Nowhere. Straight into the dustbin of history as they would slide into irrelevance since they'd have nothing left to offer.
-Which would be just fine with me so that I wouldn't have to hear this hysteria every year.
Before the sexy half time show have parents complained about the cheerleaders that always wear short outfits that show lots? When they bend over and shake it? Fake outrage
