Local LE can choose to enforce Federal laws, and many/most WOULD, if the Feds helped with the expense.
Local LE would choose to enforce/assist fed LE to enforce fed law, but sanctuary state law PROHIBITED them from doing that. At least here in California.

Also, 287(g) program is funded by ICE, including bed space.

Ask me how i know all that.

They want funding for everything BUT enforcement.

And if you are supporting them, you are DEFACTO supporting that POV.

Pretending that this is about funding is ridiculous and isn't fooling anyone.
Fat Bob,

Either you are unable to comprehend simple language, or you are just being deliberately dishonest.

No, I saw it. You are saying there is no point in funding law enforcement, which is the same as trying to wish the problem away.

You'll have to do it yourself since you oppose funding the effort.

Has Miami asked for federal assistance with immigration enforcement?

You're individual opinion on the matter is irrelevant.

Out of 15 000+ police sheriff offices in US, less than 40 participated in that program, cost being the main reason. Funded? LOL

Why waste time asking questions, when you preemptively judge the answers irrelevant?

Arguing for the sake of arguing........the hallmark of a Trump loyalist.

Be a US citizen or lawful resident, and see just how fast local LE assists when you break federal law. I will give you a hint, it is full cooperation, no questions asked other than "what can I do to help".

Be a deserter from the military, FBI most wanted, etc. Full cooperation on child crime, cyber crimes, and working with the US Marshall in apprehending fugitives, etc.
