After watching the huge mistake that Xi made by downplaying the seriousness of Covid-19 you would think that a smart leader of a major country would never repeat that mistake. So what does Trump do? He tells the American people a big whopper that there is nothing to worry about. Meanwhile the CDC is telling us the sh!+ is gonna hit the fan pretty soon.
Who do you trust - the one who has made a career of lying, or a trained epidemiologist?
Trump cutting CDC budget without a plan and eliminating staff that help control pandemics like Corona Virus a BIG mistake...Resulting downward economy very well may take POTUS down...
A president can’t address the nation and tell them to panic and we’re all going to die, regardless if or if not that is true because mass panic would happen. What did you expect?
What’s the lie? At this point, there is nothing to worry about for 99.9999% of the population. Would you rather they cry wolf every time someone hiccups?

Exactly, just like the Ebola virus and then we had the pig flu...and now this....
And BTW, was there not a thread here that talked about how trump said it'll warm up soon and has the possibility to slow the virus down....and the left laughed...

The truth. Just the truth.
