You missed the point that a multi billion dollar government agency apparently dropped the ball with their most basic function.

If they don't have the very basic supplies or plan for a quarantine, it just shows government incompetence.

and you are yet another misnamed fool who didn't read the AP article posted earlier. There were NO budget cuts at the CDC. Now the Trump administration **proposed**cuts to the CDC but Congress did not follow that and fully funded them with NO cuts. Now if you want to go after him for proposing cuts, sure that's fine, but no dollars were cut from the CDC, you are listening to talking points from political pundits instead of looking at the actual facts.

I am not in favor of big government but I am also always skeptical of these types of claims. I suspect this was handled properly and the one complaining (whistle blowing) doesn't know.

Most likely, this was the CDC who has a $12 billion budget.

This type of quarantine is a basic function of the agency, but they were not prepared at all.

The government can't be trusted with our healthcare.
It doesn't take a whisleblower to realize that. Failure of the VA has been in the news for years.

I’m not old but my grandparents reference them and honestly, this Trump/Pence mess certainly looks like them. Defund CDC, get rid of the knowledgeable people-whoops, get funding and appoint Pence! He’s a very stable genius too!

When Trump lied at the press conference saying we only have 15 infected when we have confirmed 60 Americans infected why didn't Pence tell the truth?
