Approximately 300 die a day from the flu during flu season. Just to put it into perspective.
I don't know why people keep saying this as though it is comforting. Two bullets in the gun for Russian roulette is not more comforting than one. And I wonder how many men in their 60s die of the flu each day.
Once again for those that do want to be frightened the risk of contagion to healthy people is very low.
Many many many of us are old and not so healthy. Even young healthy people have parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles who may not fair so well. Let us worry if we want to.
