Come to think of it, there are also no deaths in the Congo, Nigeria, Tanzania, and basically all of sub-Sarahan Africa.

Russia reports 3...2 recovered and 1 existing.

Russia was pretty vigilant with bans, restrictions and strict screenings for both people and flight routes.
That would not work here.

IMO the real oddity is India. 10X the population of Russia, a border with China, and essentially no reported cases.

Might also be the fact that Russia banned entry of Chinese nationals.
And then Iranians
And then South Koreans.
And also restricted flights to those countries.
