The progressives are certainly hoping it does and will.

It's a sad state of affairs. Shameless and shameful.

It's selective ignorance. We're talking about the self-proclaimed "smart ones" who can't even do simple math.

I don't know what the new meme of Trump mismanaging is about.

They completely ignore that China started this entire pandemic and then hid the facts for months.

Within a week of it being exposed as a serious issue Chinese nationals were stopped from entering the country. France and the US basically jumped on it the same day. Now the world is looking to the US to come up with a med. It's quite surreal.

My friend works at a sports goods company here in LA. Her company takes people's temperature. If you have a fever and or cough, they send you home for three days. I don't think it is enough, but it certainly is better than a lot other places.
Thanks lilyflower.

Those "facts" came out of Trump's pie hole and as we all know, he is a serial liar and cannot be trusted. We need facts from an independent source but of course he won't let any of those talk.

Just like you can hire doctors from the local community college too, right?

Do you think trauma teams wait to get hired when the next gunshot wound patient ends up in an ER?

At this point, we can reasonably say that the fatality rate will land somewhere between 1% and 10% and it will vary massively from one country to the next.

For example, Germany has seen a rapid escalation of confirmed cases. They're now up to 1018 cases, giving them the 6th most cases out of all countries in the world. They have yet to see a single death. Meanwhile, their next door neighbor France has 1126 confirmed cases and 19 deaths. Both have had active cases for about the same amount of time and have roughly equal confirmed cases. Both nations likely have very similar medical systems as well. So why does the death rate vary so massively?

There's a lot of variability to this virus we don't yet understand.

Should we wear surgical gloves when we go the grocery stores and then throw them away when we finish?
