I would say it depends upon your age. If you are over 70 this is a very questionable statement.
The bad news about the Grand Princess is the crew. They are going to be stuck on their virus infected vessel and continue to spread the virus to each other. I would have preferred that these crew members be treated like people and rescued off the vessel too. Why do people from the UK and Canada get flown home, but people from Philippines get stuck on the ship?
That's incorrect and not how data is used to estimate population parameters. There is nothing "selective" in using all information available to develop models or projections. Like the economists say: Garbage In Garbage Out. The more variables considered and the most accurate their quantification the better their predictive power.
You have it backwards. I was using the numbers that incorporate all data. The other person was wanting to only use numbers that met her standards.
