I wonder why the CDC hasn't looked at families and kids.
30-39 and 40-49 have to be the primary age groups to be parents that have kids < 12. Why is it that those 2 age groups have MORE cases than their population %, would likely be able to spread Covid while asymptomatic to their kids, yet 0-15 are way UNDER their representative population?
Why haven't the kids of parents with Covid actually gotten Covid at a much higher rate?
And why is their death rate only 0.015% (1 in 10,000 infections)?
According to the CDC since Jan 2020 the number of deaths for 0-16 from COVID is 340, for pneumonia it's 834. So pneumonia is a bigger threat to children.
The Biden Administration is unable to provide any proof that Delta variant is real and White House Deputy Press Secretary@KJP46 just admitted in a press briefing that she has no idea if there's even a test for it!
Louisiana, which has the third lowest vaccine rate in the country, is expected to reach an all-time high tomorrow for covid hospitalizations.
WORTH NOTING: The biggest democratic region of the state, New Orleans, is well above the national average vaccine rate. But the rural, overwhelmingly republican regions of Louisiana have some of the lowest vaccine rates in America.

It's a variant, meaning it's so similar that any PCR test for COVID will result in a positive result. I'm no expert, but from what I've read, in order to tell whether you were specifically infected with the variant, a sample of the virus "will need to receive additional screening that involves more intricate genomic sequencing."
The state has had more than 150,000 COVID-19 tests taken in the past two weeks, about 3,160 of those were positive and if the national percentages are reflective of South Carolina, the state would have had more than 600 cases of delta variants in the past two weeks.
However, because that additional testing is not wide-spread and the number of sequences is not reported, it is not possible to say how many cases of the delta variant are in the state, said Dr. Brannon Traxler, the state's public health director, during a media briefing last week.
So it looks like they are just guessing at how many thousands have the variant, and these numbers are not being derived by actually testing people specifically for the variants.
The chickenpox can't be that contagious because I was never able to catch it when I was a kid. My mom had me mingle with LOTS of kids that had it in the hopes that I would get it when I'm young and gain immunity, but for some reason, I just never caught it. So I had to get vaccinated & get booster shots for it.
To help prevent the spread of Covid among mouth-breathing anti-vaxxers who are still dying of covid
But they are asking the VACCINATED to mask up!! If the vaccine is so effective and can block the spread, then why should we have to wear a mask? This makes no sense!
