She would have left the politics out of it. There is a time when you just have to lead, give the sense that you are in command, take steps that engender confidence. In times of crisis a president does not get to be a politician. She has to put that aside and step up to the challege without partisanship. Trump is doing the opposite and it looks like mixed messaging and incompetence.
What the hell has happened to this country? Listen to these people. "Thanks to our glorious leader,... Thanks to the quick actions of our beloved leader..." What are we, North Korea?
This may be on purpose. If the cdc test many Americans, it will discover many many cases of “community transmission” meaning these have no known contact with infection countries and folks from those places. The virologists from Taiwan (hardly china’s friends), japan (American ally) and Russia are confirming that the US has has 5 different generations of the virus while China has only two of the newest of the five generations......so what does that mean? It means the US has the older versions of the virus and hence the US is a place of origin for this virus. China is only the first major outbreak place. The US may very well have been dealing with the outbreak of the corona virus and not knowing it and assuming it was just a severe seasonal flu.....and passing the virus to other countries. If this is confirmed, China should hand the US a bill for the cost of fighting and containing the virus that it cause. The Chinese are absolutely not going to take the blame for this virus like the Spanish did for the Spanish flu 0f 1918, which originated in the US but got the Spanish name because they were the first to record and tried to contain it, while the US ignored it and England and France were too busy trying to end WWI.
Source for the virus arising in the US? Expert virologists do not agree with you. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. Where is yours?
No one knows for sure the source of the 1918 flu outbreak, but China is a possibility.
It's a bad flu, not AIDS. The panic is absolutely ridiculous.
It is not flu. It is an entirely different virus and much nastier than any flu.

The news reports quote a doc in Seattle as saying the patient came to them with severe respiratory symptoms and then tested positive for corona. What that mean to me is that this patient was not in quarantine or observation but out there among the population where she doubtless contacted dozens of others as her disease progressed. That's worrisome.
