We will always have some small scale operations in that part of the world, but full blown military presence I think we should be scaled back to near none.
I totally agree and think this will happen soon. Of course we need to keep some operations there and in the surrounding region.
I bet the US will want to keep our military in certain areas, to continue protecting the Poppy fields.
No, well yes, but to ensure that US troops will always be in the brush fire, get entangled in a conflict, so the US can use the justification of force as desired.
