Your revised version of American history seems popular among those now pushing Socialism(communism) on us now.
There is no place for it in America.

Obviously thinking and American history are not your forte !!! It may surprise you to know American history didn't start in/on 9/11/2001 !!!

I've always heard that they do what they are told by Political Leaders. Maybe I am wrong? Always willing to learn something new.....
Maybe you can explain how a military commander is a political leader !!! I'm sure lots of people would love to hear all about that !!! I know I would !!!

The very idea that a 18 or 19 year old knows about the world and history is somewhat far out. That's specifically why they need responsible commanders like this one to TEACH them about evil.
Your comment here does more to highlight the failure of education than anything else !!! The schools that have stopped teaching American history and world history is a disservice to current and future generations. Of course it may be better to be ignorant of those subjects than to be taught how to hate America for its past like so many leftist educators have done. "Wash that Brain" could be their slogan !!!

Default Marine general orders removal of Confederate items at bases

It's bizarre that confederate flags upset more folks in 2020 than 1870.

Quote:

All Confederate flags, bumper stickers and similar items must be removed from Marine Corps bases, according to a new directive from the commandant.

For Marines/joint servicemembers on Marine Corps bases: here's a razor, get busy taking it off.

For everyone else: driving on base is a privilege, not a right.

Eagle, Globe and Anchor is on every vehicle I own. I was active duty USMC 1980-1984. I never remember seeing confederate symbols on base. I might just not remember. It would be like flying a NVA flag, German Flag or a Japanese flag, to gloat about defeated enemy. But I dont know why you would want a defeated enemy symbol as a bumper sticker.

So now we are teaching our Marines, and other fighting men that we should be afraid of symbols, flags, words, statues, etc. Great message to send.
