Social justice at work... seems ironic that social justice has priority over a person who deals with actual justice.
I don't like that she used the n--- word... but black folk use it all the time.
This is the unequal scale of social justice. The scales aren't about equality - but about what the culture wants at a particular point in time, and who they choose to penalize at a certain point in time.

Well if your rationale includes the fact that some black folks use it all the time, why don’t you like that SHE said it too? After all, you’re the one bringing up equality.
Again, NEVER say anything in a text or online that you wouldn’t say in person. That’s the easiest rule on Earth to follow. If she’d done that, she’d still be a judge.
Moreover, the context in which she used the slur indicates that she’s highly unlikely to adjudicate cases impartially. This is a judgeship...an ultimate authority over people’s lives. This isn’t about fairness to HER! It’s about fairness to the people who enter her courtroom.

I don't like when anyone uses the word. I think it trivializes what our ancestors went through when black people use the term.
My point in the prior post is that social justice really isn't about justice.... it's a mob rule mentality.
I understand where this culture is about social media... I'm just being the mirror reflecting back what happening.
All this was a public lynching of this judge because she does not morally subscribe to the trendy religion of multiculti-uralism.
Look at all the good sheep in this thread piling on to show how good adherents they are to the state sponsored religion! Even on an anonymous internet message board, you guys have no courage lol.
{shrug} I'm gonna suggest that her choice of words isn't the issue, it was just an excuse to remove a Republican judge from the bench. And I also suspect that this is not the first time she used that language, in person, to the ex boyfriend.
From the link: Gov. John Bel Edwards, a Democrat, and other groups who had previously called for her to step down welcomed her decision Thursday but also criticized the fusillade of countercharges in the Republican jurist's resignation letter.
This has NOTHING to do with social justice. She screwed up and got caught. No need to make it bigger than that.

I don’t see the problem.
If you give your enemies the ammunition, expect them to shoot you with it. Like Trump, that’s exactly what she did. And it’s a good thing that she did too.
