Blacklisting is wrong no matter who does it, and liberals will look back on this period with shame.

what's the evidence that he was blacklisted? his claim that he couldn't get any roles since trump took office is contradicted by the fact that he has over 10 credits on IMDB since trump took office.

in my opinion, sabato was a mediocre actor, but a very beautiful young man. his decline in acting work might be attributed to him getting older, less attractive, and not his politics.

I think the point is that he was snubbed for a political belief. THAT is illegal.

His wealth is meaningless. That's a class BS talking point.

We all have the right to believe as we wish. Of course the "progressive, regressive" left are totalitarian authoritarians, so whatever they say goes.

I'm 90% sure they are going to be kicked in the teeth in 2020.

Cry me a freakin river. This guy should try having mental issues like PTSD and having a differently wired brain with no marketable talent. I don't aspire to be famous (although I would like to be an actress..just not a famous one) and having a lot of wealth isn't everything but it certainly beats making not quite 12 dollars an hour.
Not to mention you're telling me that he still has roles after that? So what's the problem? He needs 200 million dollars more?

So what? It's not like he can't keep quiet. He made a choice to express it.

I echo "Who?", because - well, who is that guy?

Direct-to-video films and one-episode appearances in a slew of shows is exactly the sort of career that fizzles when you hit the late 40s and producers can now find more attractive eye candy for less money. Tough luck, but you should have known that when you signed up.

And you can ask Colin Kaepernick about the risks involved in taking a controversial political stance when your job is on the line.

Trumps not conservative. The only thing that is vile is the hypocritical dishonesty from the left. Not the right is much good either.

Dude could not act his way out of a paper bag when he played Jagger on "General Hospital" in the early 90s. If he was blacklisted, and his IMDB contradicts this, it was because he's getting older and not getting better.

again, look at his IMDB credits:

his workload seems to be similar before trump was elected and after.

The only thing I particularly remember him from is the reality show where he was 'the bachelor', and all these woman were to compete to win his love.

I remember hearing about that and thinking, "Well, if you're a celebrity on a reality show to find a date, then you're obviously not an A-list celebrity."
