It's unclear why Biden and Sanders haven't activated their Secret Service protection yet; they are entitled to it and the last thing we need is some type of violent incident with one of the Presidential candidates that would throw the election into turmoil.
Where was the secret service?
If this was a serious attack Joe would of been a goner!
Why? He was in last place among the top tier candidates and not a serious candidate until South Carolina. In any case, you can't get secret service protection as a candidate unless you ask for it. His post vice president detail expired long ago.
