The real problem no one wants to talk about is the employers that absolutely love these illegal immigrants...they are cheap labor and not required to pay them even the minimum wage.

Im assuming these large companies and industries will put pressure on Trump to 'ease up' on their work force! (its going to cost them millions if they have hire legal US citizens).

Are you kidding me?! He is taking action against those cities who are working to protect criminal aliens. WHY oh WHY are leftists intent on defending those who break our laws? Do you really place the interests of lowlife illegal aliens who cause harm to Americans above Americans themselves?

More of the problem comes from Democrats who see illegal aliens as:

1) future Democrats - either by giving them a "path to citizenship" (thus rewarding illegal behavior) or later, from their anchor babies.

2) a way to tip Congress more toward Democrats, as the population in any given state (like California, where they settle) is what determines how many districts that state gets.

Yes. Go after the employers who hire them and they'll have less incentive to come here in the first place. This is an "as well as" kind of solution though, not an "instead of" kind. It is also something that unfortunately neither party seems willing to act on in any major way, although lip service is easy enough to find. Trump has been a little bit better than his predecessors on this, but not by enough.

Huh? We law abiding Americans constantly state that we want e-verify mandated to stop the employers from hiring illegal aliens and severe punishment for those who "knowingly" hire them. We also want the illegals deported as they are equally guilty of breaking the law. The pro-illegals constantly demand the same but yet they don't want the illegals to be held accountable at all and in fact rewarded with another amnesty.

The employers used to be just fine hiring citizens before millions of illegal aliens flooded our border and they would be just fine again. They would still make a profit but just not on the greedy level as they have been.

FYI, the GOP has presented more than one e-verify bill but the Democrats won't pass it without another amnesty. It is they that are the culprits.

POTUS is only president of those states that voted for him. He's made that clear.

It's why he will lose in November.

BS on steroids is more like it. Individual city officials are breaking the law, committing crimes. They are being dealt with appropriately. It just angers the leftists who don't get their way.

Don't be daft. Individual city officials are not "breaking the law." You either have a profound misunderstanding of what a "sanctuary city" is or a profound misunderstanding of the law. Or both.
