Since we have so many here who seem to be intimate with the Beloved - can someone explain to me why he speaks in a dull monotone? Does he have no emotions? He sounds automated when on the radio..and, of course, I never watch his image...but he speaks dully and uses the same language and the "best words" over and over.

It's because his mental facilities are deteriorating, and as anyone who knows anything about conditions such as dementia and Alzheimier's, as the diseases progress one's vocabulary deteriorates. That's why it's happening to Trump.
One only needs to see one of the last interviews with Gene Wilder to see the effects.

I have zero idea of the medical conditions of any of the Dem Candidates.
I do know Trump has spoken at a 4th grade level since taking office.
Sometimes one has facts...sometimes they do not.
I suspect if we sat Joe and Don down without any references and asked for two tests...
1. One a geography test with US History included.
2. The second a request for a one page essay.....
My bet would be at least 20 to 1 that Joe will win....and probably by a lot.
I don't think Trump would know basic things.....like "Approx what year was the Mexican War and what was the result?"
In all seriousness - do you really think Trump could answer such questions? Really? This guy didn't know airplanes weren't around at the founding.
