Watch that, it's very clear no one posed any threat yet the guy was shot dead just for pulling his pants up, by a guy who had a gun that whom the pieces of garbage had a "YOU'RE ******" on his weapon yet wasn't allowed to be used as evidence against the guy by a very evil judge who is very obviously racist, sexist, loves evil doers and loves subverting the law.

What happened in the aforementioned video is completely unjustified yet happened anyway. Obviously the same judge would have been completely been cool had the same guy that did that brutally raped a woman than shot her dead, not like he would have cared.

I wish that like in the military cops had an "Don't fire unless fired upon" mindset. Far better is it for a cop to be shot and killed than an innocent civilian. May sound harsh, but given the vast majority of cops comprise of the losers in high school that, while those of us had an IQ above 50 went on to college, these losers and freaks ended up going nowhere in life? Have you ever noticed how most of the jackasses you knew in high school ended up becoming either nurses or cops because they love having the power and control over others?

I served 2 tours in Iraq and we our ROE was not "don't fire unless fired upon in Iraq". You watch too much Black Hawk Down

Go watch real videos of Apache attack helo blowing up insurgents with hellfire missiles. The Apache was not receiving any hostile fire from the insurgents

Great quote from "Full Metal Jacket", "In the future, in place of "Search and Destroy", substitute the phrase "Sweep and Clear".

Research "Qualified Immunity-Police"
Another Patriot Act flub.

Quote:
Specifically, qualified immunity protects a government official from lawsuits alleging that the official violated a plaintiff's rights, only allowing suits where officials violated a “clearly established” statutory or constitutional right. When determining whether or not a right was “clearly established,” courts consider whether a hypothetical reasonable official would have known that the defendant’s conduct violated the plaintiff’s rights. Courts conducting this analysis apply the law that was in force at the time of the alleged violation, not the law in effect when the court considers the case.

As a rule, people who complain about the police want to get away with breaking the law.

We know who you are.

You are taking one instance OP where a cop went off the rails and shot when he shouldn't have and casting all cops as bad?

You must be a liberal.

The problem that we see time and again where the cops have to resort to excessive sometimes deadly force could have all been prevented if the accused perp had complied with the questioning, the arrest and dropped their attitudes.

I couldn't imagine being a cop and having to enter a scene where you have no idea who anyone is or if they are prepared to kill you.

Sometimes bad things can happen when a gun is pointed at you so it is best to avoid that.

A cop is just as responsible for every time he pulls that trigger as the rest of us would be but with a cop he/she could find themselves having to make a split second life or death decision much more often.

Cops are held accountable.

The guy was murdered for failing to play simon says.
The worst part is, the maggot that shot him was forced into retirement and gets a pension for life.
It is disgusting.

Cops are SOMETIMES held accountable, depending on the circumstances. The "Justice" system protects its own. Cops are often reassigned, or given paid leave until the situation blows over. Sometimes they are even promoted to get them moved. Technology is helping today as just about everything is videoed.

How was this cop held accountable when he was given his job back so he can get his pension.
The family members of the victim should be going after the cop for murdering him.

Big Government Liberals are protecting criminal cops and in the way.
