I don't live in my parents' basement but there's a high chance I will end up there with the way the economy is going.
Do you think you could get them to move to another city before you move in?

I liked Mayor Pete. And I agree he had the right mix I was speaking of.

However it was the Democrats who did not give him a chance. You need to put blame where it belongs. And I don't believe it had anything to do with him being gay.

I'm just curious which way you are taking this one.
Trump inherits a great stock market and you guys act as if it was all his doing. He does every stupid thing possible to handle the pandemic, including telling sick people to go to work, but he doesn't get some of the blame?

You can't blame Trump for all that. However if things get really bad voters usually blame who is in the White House.
We can blame the White House for inexplicably refusing to accept WHO testing which has resulted in a dearth of test kits and, with it, an increase of potential exposure. We can blame the administration for the woeful response and mixed (inaccurate) messaging. When dealing with a potential pandemic, the most critical thing is a rapid, effective response and instead Trump dithered and told people to go to work because he did not want to spook the stock markets.

You can certainly blame him for repeatedly making false and misleading comments to the public re:corona virus and for a lack of leadership and coherent strategy here. These things matter. All of his horrible traits are about to be laid bare.

We'll see.
3 levels of the Circuit Breaker Rule based on the percentage decline from the close of the previous day:

Level 1 triggers a 15 minutes halt at 7%

Level 2 triggers another 15 minute halt at13%.

Level 3 triggers a halt to the trading day at 20%.

The Dow is currently down over 1,800 points.

Are you Trump supporters really so dim-witted that you can't understand how a downturn in the economy hurts everyone? It sure seems like it.

We're all in this economy together. When it crashes, everyone suffers. Geesh, a first grader is capable of understanding that, but not so Trump supporters.

We have a world where 40% of the economy is China and the USA. And we have leadership in both countries who whose words cannot be taken at face value. In difficult times leadership is very important.

Guess media should ignore:

25% of Italy’s population on lockdown order, and

CDC is denying freedom to 3500 cruise ship passengers, most of whom are not sick, to go home via plain, train, bus and instead moving them into various quarantines for 14 days, and

Indiana’s governor imposed a state of public health emergency after a single positive test, and

Global markets plunged overnight.
