Johnson has initiated a Congressional Investigation into Joe and Hunter Biden. Last I heard, the US Congress is part of the US Federal Government. Thus, we have a Federal Investigaton into the Biden family' Ukranian affairs.
Additionally, the DOJ has "established a process for the intake of information" regarding the same from Rudy Giuliani and any other that step forward. Barr has appointed state and federal attorneys and investigators to conduct this "process".
Lastly, the Ukranian government is also conducting its own investigation into the Biden affair.
So, there are 3 different investigations, processes, probes, ongoing.
I have no idea what will come out of it.

Even if that were true, saying that Joe's mental issues are reason to disqualify him is rediculous, when he's running against Trump. As an analogy, if it were cancer, it would be like saying Joe should not run for POTUS because he has State-2 Lung Cancer and it's too risky to have an infirm POTUS who many not live out his term (which would be a reasonable statement, if it were true), but then to support someone who is in Hospice with Stage-4 Lung Cancer.

I'd take a president with dementia that is not actively trying to destroy the checks and balances in our government to consolidate executive power over a perfectly healthy president who is actively doing those things.
The cherry on the cake, is that Trump likely has dementia himself. His father had it, he is in the age range where it becomes a risk, and his behavior is erratic at best and lunacy at worst.
