Yep. Trump's claim that he had investigators in Hawaii digging up proof that Obama's birth certificate was fake and that he was an illegal alien ("they can't believe what they're finding") was a lie. He never went looking for dirt on Obama because he knew he wouldn't find any. But that didn't stop him from spreading lies.
