Where is it spreading the fastest?

My son works in food manufacturing and he has received a permit from his employer allowing him to travel to work as an essential employee after the stay at home order goes into effect here in Illinois tonight. Are other states issuing permits like this?

Explain to the American people months ago that this is an unspeakable threat and tell people that social distancing was critical rather than telling people it was only a dozen people infected and downplaying the risk while exposure exploded. Start taking proactive measures to prepare for the inevitable.

Get ready to eat a lot of bread and rice....

"“An interruption to the processing of agricultural worker visas will undoubtedly cause a significant disruption to the US food supply,” the Agriculture Workforce Coalition wrote in its letter to Pompeo. “The American people need a stable food supply to maintain healthy diets and strong immune systems, especially now during this national health crisis. The failure to take necessary action to protect our food supply will result in bare shelves in grocery store produce aisles, not from panic buying, but as the result of the federal government directly causing a shortage of critical labor"

Turns out legal visa workers do the lions share of most everything from Apples to Berries and everything in-between. It also means the truckers, packers, distribution centers, etc. will lose jobs and revenues.

There will be more than enough food, IMHO...but the types may differ.

Liberals only complain about Republicans. It's irrelevant to them that Democrats run every major city and places like CA WA and NY where the virus really got its start.

Politics means more to left wingers than public safety, that much is clear from reading the constant and disgusting posts they write here.

Right now, where there are the most people in tight quarters, like big cities, the suburban areas near big cities, cruise ships, and nursing homes. I live in a place that is not described by any of that and we have it here in my town. It's just a matter of time. Practice social distancing and it can help prevent the spread. Keep in mind that all of those idiot spring breakers were partying on the beaches in Florida... and now they're all going home to their small towns this weekend.

1. He should have looked at the news - not Fox, but actually news. And read.
2. He should have listened to the intelligence briefings
3. He should have not downplayed it for a month or more.
4. He should have acted more boldly both whether or not he did the above.
5. He should stop insulting virtually every American and everyone else in the world
6. He should start at least acting as if he cares about others.
7. He should not have chased away any decent people in his admin.

Those are for starters. But he knows, better than most, how clueless most Americans are....that they still "buy his act"....and so he will continue it.

The very day folks like you stop buying it...is when he stops doing it. Not a day before then. He's playing to the crowd.
