My son works in food manufacturing and he has received a permit from his employer allowing him to travel to work as an essential employee after the stay at home order goes into effect here in Illinois tonight. Are other states issuing permits like this?
A permit to be on public streets? How is this constitutional? How is this not a police state?
Liberals only complain about Republicans. It's irrelevant to them that Democrats run every major city and places like CA WA and NY where the virus really got its start.
Politics means more to left wingers than public safety, that much is clear from reading the constant and disgusting posts they write here.
It got its start on a cruise ship and a nursing home in Washington, those were the first cases but it did spread to dense population centers rapidly. Why wouldn't you expect a city like NY to have a rapid spread with the largest train and subway system in the US along with several major airports.
But somehow you got left wing politics when states like Texas and Oklahoma are still in denial. This will spread to every state but to say that these put politic is ahead of safety is really a read state virtue, they are slow to believe in any science that conflicts with Trump's perception.
NY and other states have been far ahead of others in their actions, particularly those Midwest red states.
Explain to the American people months ago that this is an unspeakable threat and tell people that social distancing was critical rather than telling people it was only a dozen people infected and downplaying the risk while exposure exploded.

I have yet to see you criticize chuk shumer for calling trump a racist to include (chuck did not do it), but trump was also called a xenophobe for saying this is a "china virus."
