Great question.

Maybe because it came from China and they allowed it to spread around the globe? By your logic every leader in the world is to blame. Blaming Trump solves nothing. And yes, I know if Obama was president he’d get the same blame from the right, it’s ignorant. Human nature is to blame the person on top for a crisis, even if they aren’t responsible for it.

Ohio, the 7th largest state, has just issued a "Stay at Home" order joining Illinois, Connecticut, New York, California, Oregon, and New Jersey.

I didn’t expect someone in a Texas suburb to be able to spot bad/ostentatious taste!

From real life accounts from people with Covid-19, I do not wish this nasty little virus on anyone.

Indeed.

There are also a lot of terrible doctors in rural areas. The better ones are mostly in the big cities.

It was going to come no matter who was President, but it wouldn't necessarily be this out of hand no matter who was President.

Canada learned a lesson from SARS and swine flu and built a robust infrastructure to tackle future epidemics.

Obama built an infrastructure to deal with future epidemics.

Hillary Clinton in "Stronger Together" identified pandemics as one of our top national security issues and proposed building on Obama's pandemic infrastructure.

Trump slashed CDC funding and fired the entire White House pandemic response team.

That did not have to happen under any President.

So yeah, we're playing the blame game.

Mr Trump said of the pandemic team that “some of the people we’ve cut they haven’t been used for many, many years and if we ever need them we can get them very quickly and rather than spending the money”.

Geez. It's too bad Trump didn't get all those people back in November, December, January, February. You know, when U.S. intelligence agencies were issuing warnings about an imminent biological threat.
