It was evident from the beginning that the blame lays squarely on China's supression of EVERYTHING having to do with the Wuhan virus.
If you are going to blame China for suppressing the truth you have no choice but to also blame Trump for suppressing the truth.
China and Trump both had a similar first instinct response to the virus, which was to lie about it.
Again, if you are mad at China for lying about this and not mad at Trump for lying about this you are simply a hack.
Trump's lies cost us 2 months of preparation and this thing doubles every 3 to 4 days.
2 months to stockpile masks, respirators, and tests. 2 months to scale testing and healthcare infrastructure. Now we are stuck trying to scale infrastructure while the virus hits the most rapid part of it's growth cycle. Trump's (in)actions will cost thousands of lives before this is over, all because he was worried about "optics".

Hospitals and clinics around the country have a dire shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This is hampering both Covid-19 testing, as well as treatment, during a time when our healthcare system is in danger of being overwhelmed with patients at any rate! Mr Trump has signed the Defense Production Act, giving him the authority to order American companies to make and rush the distribution of more PPE, but he has refused to actually order anyone to do it. Our healthcare workers are begging for this equipment!
I ask all Americans to contact their governors, senators, congressional officers and ask them to put pressure on the White House to get the President to ORDER the equipment be made and distributed as fast as humanly possible that our healthcare workers need during this national emergency. Lives are at stake!

They do. It isn't stupid, it's true.
The virus was here, doubling every 3 to 4 days while Trump downplayed it and called it the flu, while he called the media response a hoax. It wasn't until his precious stock market started to take a dive that he took it seriously.
He absolutely contributed to the problem.
