That's a mighty big assumption with no proof.

And if you test negative, like 70K did that just means they don't have it yet.
The current numbers 6.7K positive and 70K negative indicate that your assumption may not be correct.

unlike my governor who bashes trump at every turn
But this is a pandemic affecting all 50 states. A hurricane doesn't affect all 50 states at once.

The CDC released guidelines for Healthcare Providers today on how to treat an overwhelming number of CV19 patients when mask supplies run out, including (not kidding) using a “homemade” mask such as a “bandana, scarf” to protect them from exposure.

Wtf

But sure, the “left wing media” is causing panic because we have “fantastic control” over this pandemic.

Trump should call DeSantis and say, "If you don't close those beaches in the next 24 hours, I'll do it for you."
The beaches are not likely to spread very many cases. It is the bars and night clubs after the beach as well as the packed parties in hotel rooms.

Defense Secretary Mark Esper made clear to CNN that two Navy hospital ships being deployed to help respond to the coronavirus outbreak will not treat patients suffering from the virus and will take weeks to deploy.

The Pentagon also confirmed the two ships will provide 2,000 hospital beds. New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Wednesday that his state alone needs an additional 50,000

So sure...the ships are a good idea to divert patients who normally need a bed but don't have the virus. This will free up space at the local hospitals.

But like Cumomo said even these two ships are a drop in the bucket compared to the number of sick that can be expected shortly.

The US is totally unprepared for this. It is nothing short of criminal negligence on the part of the federal health agencies. Hospitals in this area are already running out of masks and other protection equipment and the epidemic is barely off the ground. One of the problems is that a test for a suspected virus patient takes 5 days turn around because they have to be shipped out of state. So a person who likely does not have it lies for days in the hospital where workers must don N95 masks and other protective gear to check them.

Im not sure Trump should even be making public statements about this virus, since it was not that long ago, he called this whole thing a 'hoax'...he is in NO position to be a leader right now.

Neither did Trump - here is what he said

They tried the impeachment hoax. That was on a perfect conversation. They tried anything, they tried it over and over, they’ve been doing it since you got in. It’s all turning, they lost, it’s all turning. Think of it. Think of it. And this is their new hoax. But you know, we did something that’s been pretty amazing. We’re 15 people [infected] in this massive country. And because of the fact that we went early, we went early, we could have had a lot more than that.
The "hoax" he was talking about was that the administration had not taken action. At the time (28 Feb), he had taken action starting 4 weeks prior to close US to China. at the time there were 15 infected and no deaths in the US. Trump Never called the Corona virus a hoax.
