If you turn on FOX News you will see that they parrot this type of cr*p all the time. Lies, lies, lies from the President and almost every Republican lawmaker. And more than a fair number of Republicans in this forum do the same.

They make me sick to my stomach. THEY ARE THE ONES WHO HATE AMERICA.

Alright, so we got the borderhoppers taken care of. Any chance we can think about the push factors causing them to want to take the risks to be here? Maybe take the serious look at safety nets, employers, and other pull factors which direct those leaving to point themselves this way? You can’t just erect a barrier to a problem and call it a day. If you’re truly concerned about it, you rectify the root causes. Otherwise you’re merely annoyed by a thing you don’t like, but not animated enough to do more than a band-aid, rather than concerned and committed to fixing a problem. The wall is like turning up the radio when your car makes a new noise, or twisting the faucet harder if it drips.
