Ha! If you believe that, I have a bridge to sell you. They just came up with the idea yesterday.
Target, CVS, Walgreens will erect tents in their parking lots. There are no test kits available. There are no staff hired yet. They need protective gear. And the website where you can see if you qualify for and sign up for the test does not exist. That is a lot to put together by Monday!
Our hospital had the online screening about two weeks ago and introduced the drive through a week ago.

Glad to see the feds catching up
They haven't yet. Saying is not doing.
(quoted you, but you are not my target)

A medical professor at Johns Hopkins University urged Americans not to believe low numbers of confirmed coronavirus cases in the United States, warning the actual number of people walking around with the virus could be “between 50,000 and half a million.”
“Don’t believe the numbers when you see, even on our Johns Hopkins website, that 1,600 Americans have the virus,” Makary said. “No, that means 1,600 got the test, tested positive. There are probably 25 to 50 people who have the virus for every one person who is confirmed.”
If it were really up to half a million, containment would basically be impossible. It would only be a matter of time before everyone gets it.
You asked if the press should have temperature checks. I told you they did.
Now you are asking something else. Moving the goal posts.
Yes someone can be contagious before showing symptoms. Temp is one of the symptoms. One can feel great and still have a high temperature. Does that help?

Glad Trump is being tested.
Glad they are checking folks around him.
Wish McConnell had come back sooner but Monday is okay. LEt's get this done.
Monday is not okay. The virus is not going to stop spreading over the next few days because McConnell doesn't want to work on a weekend. He is derelict in his duty by taking the weekend off when the country is in crisis, one that grows worse by the day.

Unless you told every single person to stay home for an entire month!
Containment in the US is impossible at this point, you would of had to seal off the entire country (air/land/sea) months ago and not let anybody into or out of the country back in January, and even then it was probably too late. Then you would of had to keep it like that probably until next January or longer!
Assume the virus is everywhere at this point, don't panic, but wash your hands regularly for at least 20 seconds with soap, avoid touching your face, especially your eyes, nose and mouth, and avoid people as much as you can.
It's now all about delaying everyone getting it at the same time, as to not overwhelm the healthcare system. If we can at least stagger the infections, we have a much better chance of keeping our death rate low.
It's basically not a matter of if you will get it, but a matter of when, stay strong my friends!
We need to flatten the curve. We do that by testing and knowing where the virus is spreading the most rapidly, so we can try to contain those areas swiftly. Without testing, that is almost impossible to do.

Or someone comes up with a vaccine soon
