It’s not dangerous to young, healthy people is what I thought he meant and I have heard many experts say the same thing. I think most people are going to get exposed to this thing after what I just read. It lives in the air for 3 hours and on plastic and stainless steel surfaces for days. How can you avoid it if you aren’t a complete recluse? It lives on cardboard for 12 hours!
I don’t know how we are going to protect our elderly until the vaccine is perfected in probably 18 months.

Medical authorities in Italy are now reporting that they are beginning to see young adults being admitted to the ICU: "You have no idea how many young people are here, I mean even 20-year-olds with no underlying conditions, in need of assisted breathing because of horrible pneumonia."
As terrible as it is that Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson contracted the virus...
Maybe, just maybe, in the larger scheme of things more and more people will take this thing seriously. And, if, God willing, they get through this with no lasting effects it may give hope for others.
100% agree. It just goes to show how quick this thing can spread if someone like this - who probably flies in a private jet, has personal assistants handle a lot of their daily "chores," and spends less time mingling with society than the average Joe can get it.
First and second cases in my state just reported. They are unrelated and have no known contact with each other and don't live in the same town or neighboring towns to each other.
Being that Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson are both 63, may show how people who are of a similar age will recover, if they are infected. Since I'm nearly the same age, I will keep a sharp eye on their recovery news.
Tom and Rita will get Cold or Flu symptoms and are not at risk. No Big deal.
