It doesn’t help them but it also doesn’t hurt them. It hurts the people who own small businesses and It hurts people who work in small businesses. Big business will be fine.

That seems the only way to keep people isolated because they are ignoring the warnings.
So...SHUT DOWN is imminent. And it's happening all over the globe so we don't become the next Italy.

Maybe, but I don't think it would be very dramatic. It would lead to a surge in porn traffic more than anything else, not a baby boom.

We are trading one problem for another because we think it’s unfair to only quarantine those who are at high risk and those who have close contact with those who are high risk.

People, think of it this way, if we shut down for 3 weeks, Nobody in nobody out, we lose 3 weeks of our freedom, our country won't be as screwed as Italy.

Poor italy! I am so sad for them and I actually cried for them today! 3590 new cases today after the whole country locked down! WTH!

I will go with Dr. Fauci. And it will hurt all business. Retail has been hurting for quite a while. More big chains will close. Shopping malls will close. There is going to have to be an infusion of money for those out of work because of this.

And to get back to your other idea. Let low risk work and high risk stay at home. Where is the cutoff for that? Are the police going to pull people over who appear to be violating the order? A DWE. Driving while elderly. There are people with health issues that are not apparent by just looking at them. Diabetes and hypertension are two. If an 80 year old walks into Walmart are they going to have to call 911?

I respect your sympathy to those who are going to be really impacted by this. I don't see any real way around it.

Wouldn't it have been better to assure licensed manufacture of the vaccine in the US, rather than just trying to deny its use by everybody else? It just looks ugly, even brutish, and I wouldn't blame the Germans for blocking the deal.

The Gov seems to be on top of this in Ohio...I just have this sinking feeling the horses are out of the stable and we going to resemble something closer to Italy. Look at the airports and there are reports that people are not taking this seriously....Spring Break...beaches in S. Carolina and so on.
