Well that is what some posters want although I don't know what good it will do. Peace of mind maybe ?
Getting tested is right up there with stocking toilet paper.
I got tested last week at the VA hospital. Trust me: after they shove those plastic probes up both nostrils, you won’t be in a hurry to have it done again anytime soon.
HA! I'm glad we have Trump. Obama waited until thousands died and millions were infected with the swine flu!! But noone complained! How sweet!
You really shouldn't use alternative facts!
An image was shared on Facebook here that claimed “0 deaths, Public Health Emergency Declared” during the “2020 Coronavirus” under President Trump. It compared this to the Swine Flu outbreak in 2009, over which the post claimed “1,000 deaths, Public Health Emergency Declared” under President Obama.
A public health emergency for Swine Flu, also known as H1N1, was declared on April 26, 2009 by the Obama administration with no deaths in the U.S. (see here ). While Obama personally declared H1N1 an emergency in October 2009, when over a thousand had died (see here ), the “Secretary of Health and Human Services first declared a public health emergency” on April 26, 2009. Statements that say Obama and his administration waited until 1,000 had died before declaring an emergency often ignore this April 26, 2009 Government announcement (see it here ). The claim that there were 1,000 deaths when a public health emergency was declared under Obama’s administration was therefore false. https://www.reuters.com/article/uk-f...-idUSKBN20X34L

H1N1 was not as deadly as the seasonal flu.
Corona is 10x deadlier than the seasonal flu.
Not reasonable and purposely misleading to compare the estimate of TOTAL deaths attributed to complications on H1N1 in 2009/10 with a current daily tally.
I am slightly hopeful about this today. I groaned when Trump came out with the team. But, he actually did a good job today at the presser. For the first time in his presidency Trump rose to his title. Let's see if it lasts.
The people who are at the highest risk are boomers. The people who are making decisions about how we should respond are also boomers. Boomers have decided that school children who are not at risk should not go to school so that they can protect the boomers. Boomers have decided to close restaurants, bars, resorts, etc which in turn will devastate service workers, mostly millennials, financially, not to mention the long term negative impact to our country as a whole after the ripple effect from that decision takes holds. Young people would love to be given the opportunity to keep the economy going but are not being given the chance due to short term thinking of those in charge.
Actually, people over 70 are at highest risk. The oldest Boomers are turning 74 this year. It's more the "Slients" and whatever "Greatest Generations" are left than the Boomers, the youngest of whom are turning 56 this year.

That's hysterical. And nobody said anything. LOL
Having worked professionally with teen moms, a common time for conception to occur is from the time school gets out until the parents return home from work.

It would be a real shame if the people politicizing this pandemic contracted coronavirus and died, wouldn't it?
No shortage of people politicizing on all side.
Corona don’t care about politics.
