Shoulda/ woulda/ coulda

My 2 cents: An over reliance was placed on restricting travel from inbound Chinese tourists, instead of preparing for the “ what if”.

The truth sucks.
He thinks he is above getting sick. I don't wish that on him, but he should-quarantine just to be safe.

Why is this so hard for them to understand? When he was claiming it was a hoax he SHOULD have been prepping for the inevitable. Now we are all left to deal with his utter incompetence.

Biden claimed the virus came from Greenland, so how much help would he have been 2 months ago?

Would he have listened to experts instead of needing to minimize it when he should have been preparing for it?

If he trusts subject matter experts more than his gut it doesn't matter where he thinks the virus came from.

But we cant figure out if its true or not because we cant test enough. Something this administration has REPEATEDLY dropped the ball on.
I believe the Admin was over reliant on the restriction of Chinese tourists to mitigate the risk to the US public, and precious time was lost.

There is no amount of government bureaucracy that could not have been steamrolled had there been the right tone at the top from the get go.

How convenient it is currently run by an administration you disagree with....
Somehow many other nations managed to figure it out. It isn't rocket science it is basic prepareness.

The only nation where your excuses would be valid is China, the only country with no forewarning.

Your post does make me think that the left is going to try and use this run-of-the-mill virus as a basis for taking over the health care system, again.

The only thing I'd be gleeful about is the possibility of them canceling my job for a while but if everything else ends up closing/gets cancelled then I won't be happy about that. Also I wonder if it will be more difficult to get another job in this pandemonium.

They probably won't even cancel it anyway but I'm not sure why because if they think it's that serious why would they keep going? My job is very unimportant.
