The economy isn't crashing, but I do believe time would be well spent in creating a vaccine or finding a cure for TDS.

Whatever helps you sleep at night.

It isn’t crashing, it’s crashed.

“The economy isn’t crashing if it’s already crashed”, taps on forehead.

Well stocks are only about half way to bottom from what most people are saying.

And then there's unemployment and a possible currency crisis. Many are predicting this to be much worse than 2008-09 and it could take five years or more before things return to normal.

None of us in our lifetimes have seem times as perilous as what we are currently going into.

With that in mind, what does Trump have left working in his favor? Will America's hatred of liberalism and longing for "traditional values" be enough for him to win the election? Will stopping abortion and the LGBT agenda be more important to Americans than the likely (I hope I'm wrong) skyrocketing unemployment we'll be seeing in November?

Biden is a gamble. He doesn't excite the liberal base but he is more palatable to boomers who find somebody like Sanders or Warren to be too far left.
He has nothing but lickspiddles and sycophants.

What does Trump still have going for him? Really terrible opponents. The Dems missed a golden opportunity to put up a young and energetic candidate. Trump is the oldest President we've ever had in their first term. They could have pulled the "tired old man" card. Instead, the Democrat nominee will either be 4 or 5 years older than Trump. Idiots!!

It remains to be seen how things will play out. The Coronavirus happens no matter who is POTUS because it was 100% China's screw up that unleashed the damn thing. The Coronavirus is to blame of the panicky markets. So I guess it comes down to how well Trump manages and sells the crisis. This chapter has only just begun. Lots of possibilities.

Trump is what he is, but maybe today isn’t the day to pile on.

It's really too bad the dems can't put forth a more likeable, middle-of-the-road candidate.

Still, I think Biden mops the floor with Trump. Bernie beats Trump too, but it'll be a lot closer.

You are right, though. The only thing really going for Donny over the last three years has been the economy. Trump has been able to ride Obama's success. But if the economy goes into the crapper, ol' Donny is done for come November.
