Asking an honest question here. Moderator cut: trolling

How exactly would the current COV19 situation in the US be different if we had millions of test kits available?

Be specific.

Don’t deflect.

Aaaaaaaaand go!!

Well, for one thing, I would imagine that it would tamp down panic.

By the way, I'm not sure what you mean about an "honest" question. Do you mean an innocent unbiased question that you just happen to be curious about?

Specifically, Trump stated anyone who wanted to be tested could be when that simply wasn't true as there was a limited supply of test kits.

IOW, Trump continues to be a compulsive liar as he's been all his life.

There are a ton of stories that are out the people who should be tested or not getting tested. There’s a lot of frustration about the lack of testing, the lack of access to testing, the red tape that’s involved for anyone to get a test that really should. A lot more people probably have COVID-19 then we realize due to the lack of testing.

First, thank you for actually trying to answer.

How would giving one test kit to every American tomorrow affect the panic level?

I would think there would be more people who would know they had COVID-19 instead of thinking they had a cold or mild flu... or would know they had a cold or mild flu instead of COVID-19.

For the win. Refreshing to see a post so straight forward without vitriol.

I don’t know what this means.

Have you known someone personally who is facing this or can you point me to a story on any news network (I’ll even take CNN) about a specific event where this happened?

Come on, let’s attempt to have a reasonable conversation.
But if there were sufficient supplies, wouldn't that convey the message that Trump was handling the situation well?

To see the scale of infection in US which should've been done when the first case was here (like in South Korea) to help contain the pandemic before out of control with all positive tests immediately going into quarantine.
