Now he's crying because his city is completely overpopulated.
He is/was a proponent of unlimited migration into America.
And now Americans are going to die because of his reckless attitude.
Left-wingers - open-borders left-wingers - where are you now? Do you think adding a billion more people to America right now will cure this virus? I bet you do...
New York (pop. 18,804,000):
23,247 confirmed
184 deaths
I've said it before, and I'll say it again. No one knows how many cases of COVID-19 we have if people aren't being tested. Here in Texas, people aren't being tested. Why? Because we don't have nearly enough tests available. I am sure we have far more than the confirmed number, but without testing people, we don't know, do we?
"The President has refused to use the power that he has to compel US manufacturers to make and distribute critically needed medical equipment more rapidly."
Because he DOESN'T HAVE TO. The yhve ALL stepped up and volunteered. Even manufacturers of other products have VOLUNTEERED to convert so they can make what is needed.
As Cuomo explained during his presser yesterday, the problem with the voluntary manufacturing is two-fold. First, absent the fiscal injection that is associated with the DPA, most manufacturers will not be able to shift their manufacturing to the needed goods in time. Ventilators will not do us any good if they aren't received for 2 months. Second, absent a guaranteed market, businesses who simply volunteer will be incentivized to under-manufacture in fear that they will be left with excess stock.

You're exactly right. And this point is the exact reason people blabbering about a 3% mortality rate early on were lying through their teeth. Nobody knows what the mortality rate is because there isn't reliable testing and it's a new virus.
At the end of the day, I'd bet a healthy sum of money that the mortality rate from COVID-19 will be way below 1%, which will mean that less people die from it in the U.S. than died from the swine flu.
At that point, those who pushed hysteria and fear are going to have some explaining to do.
How many border-jumping illegals are going to snatch up a bed from one of our seniors who gave their lives to this country???
How many so-called "refugees" will get a ventilator over a person who gave 40 years of labor - their life to this country????
"Progressivism" is absolute evil....playing out right before our eyes.
This topic is about whether Gov. Cuomo was wrong to suggest that he wouldn't sacrifice human lives for questionable economic reasons under the current circumstances. It has nothing to do with the contents of your post.

BS.
Are you cool with giving a ventilator to a so-called "refugee" who's been here 3 years...over a senior who gave 40 years of hard labor to America?
