Pandemic experts say that travel bans are not effective in stopping the spread and they misdirect focus.
They say the best way to combat a virus is within the country.
I suspect they think that Trump's focus on travel ban instead of ensuring sufficient resources such as test kits impacted the spread of the virus here in the USA.
I suspect that is what Biden is basing his decision on -- the pandemic experts.
