its extremely overblown. honestly I think a lot of it has to be with the hive mindset people have today that comes from always being connected via social media, traditional media, etc. No one can think for themselves anymore and we are more worried about feelings than reason. that's why you see all these colleges and sports teams cancelling things. one does it so they feel they all have to. being connected isn't great if all you get is group think. someone has to be able to say lets step back and think about this instead of just being afraid.

Yep. Men have high rates of substance abuse and they are more prone to violence. Behaviors that one would hardly call "rational."
Besides, there are just as many men as women who aren't particularly bright (where better to observe this than on CD?), so if men "run on facts and reason," no wonder there's so much turmoil in the world.

Here is a sexist fact. Women are bundles of uncontrollable emotions and tend to overreact. I watched a panic unfolding in the store yesterday, it looked just like a doomsday Black Friday, 90 percent women, The OP is right. The this post lays it out so crystal clear, men follow reason and women are emotionally driven. Call it sexist but it is a fact.
So you saw a lot of women at the grocery store in the morning, taking the initiative to prepare for an impending pandemic, and the only thing you can think is that men should be in charge? Wow. If anything can be poorly extrapolated from this, it's that men should not be in charge because they do not take pandemics seriously, do not prepare adequately, and have poor reasoning skills.

Woke early this morning deciding to surprise my wife with breakfast.
Oh no......I was out of milk.
Drove to the store.......mind you it is only 6 a.m. in the morning.
Found the parking lot surprisingly filled to capacity. Wondered why?
Once inside I was shocked to see nothing but women of all ages up and down the aisles
dragging their carts as they appeared ready to burst.
All this because of a Corona Virus scare? Are you kidding?
Can this be the true definition of the women's movement?
I was upset to see many of these women with cargo in tow at the tiny self checkout
counters of 10 items or less only. So much for rule of law....
After a good 45 minute wait and a not so cold container of milk I made my purchase and exited
the store. Arrived home and now pressed for time quickly made breakfast. My wife enjoys a cup
of coffee along side a small bowl of cereal.
I'm greeted with a good morning kiss and the first words out of her mouth after swallowing
a spoonful of cereal?
" Why is the milk warm"...............
Observation:
After watching the news on Donald Trump being in such close proximity with a number of
diplomats and refusing to get tested for Corona .....reminded me of an old hero cowboy John Wayne.
Men display only cautioned concern while women always take things to the emotional extremes.
Make me glad why women do not have control of that big red button in office.
To those conspiracy theorists who believe this was a foreign plant to destroy the economy?
Far greater results were uncovered.
Any nation that lets its women rule its people can easily be defeated without firing a single bullet.
All one needs to do is merely trigger the female emotions.

In the Trump era, most people believe that white Christian men belong in all positions of authority and that women are to cook and clean and be submissive to their husbands.

I love how some think THEY are so smart and can read other peoples minds.
Women populate the world. I think women are superior and in control of their bodies which they don't want taken away. Men need women for sex. Women don't necessarily need sex from men. I won't go into more detail though. I think women know what I'm talking about.
Women have a maternal instinct, and need to reproduce.
Men don't need any of that.
The suicide rate for women would be insanely high if there were no men.
