The Green New Deal isn't to get rid of airplanes, so nice try. It's about providing jobs and helping the environment at the same time, which is obviously good, and obviously the unintelligent person is the one who would dismiss something so positive without a thought.

Unlike you, I will be going to work and treating patients every day, regardless of the risk. In such situations, we are required to go to work; however, I don't know of anyone who has suggested shirking their duty.
Unless you haven't noticed, liberal enclaves are the most densely populated areas in the US. Thus, this pandemic will affect libs to a greater extent- that is simply epidemiology.
However, the economic impact of this pandemic will be greater than the medical consequences. Unlike the pandemic of 1919, the path of transmission is known and people are taking efforts to avoid crowds and wash their hands (which is about all anyone can do).
