So is gun ownership...

I'm not worried about anyone taking my guns. I just want government to pay for them and as many as I want.

"It is not a right to be given a gun"

Oh. Is that how it works?
Then why is everyone saying I need to be given healthcare?

Yes gun ownership is a Right granted to us by the Constitution but so is the Right not to own a gun.

The same goes for the First amendment. You have the Right to free speech and I have the Right not to listen.

Healthcare isn't so much a Right as the Left likes to tell us it is but it certainly is a convenience to many Americans to be able to walk into a clinic or emergency room if they feel ill. The only thing of concern is how we pay for such a service.

Of course the Lefty anti gunners would say that without guns there would be far less violence and people needing healthcare to fix their bullet wounds.

You cannot win this arguement BB

Do you think health care should not be a "right" for all Americans?

If you come down with a contagious disease and you don't have health care, you could infect the entire nation. So I say yes, health care should be a required right of every American.

He's sadly already stated that he doesn't think healthcare is a right since in his words, "it requires someone elses labor"

Health care is not a right... just like eating three meals a day is not a right.

It is a right to buy a gun or health care. It is not a right to be provided with either.

I personally have no problem with law abiding citizens owning guns. And I also don’t think healthcare should be free.

My main disagreements are the type of large capacity weapons that are used in these mass killings. Where does it end? With everyone running around with an automatic bazooka?...

As far as health care, it should not be free. But it should not cost a family $25,000 a year either.

And he is exactly right for saying so. Anyone who votes for government to force their fellow citizens to pay for their personal expenses may as well be putting a gun to their head themselves.

I guarantee you that if health care becomes universal, and the government runs lows on funds - the elderly will not have the "right" to health care.

Correct.

Why should your taxi driver pay for your healthcare?

Why should the kid flipping burgers at McDonalds pay for your healthcare?

Why should your plumber pay for your healthcare?

Selfishness abounds.
