The only irresponsible part is it wasn't enough of a cut.

Yea lets pay more taxes so we can have inefficient government spend it on things like this, "$356,000 was spent of your money studying whether or not Japanese quail are more sexually promiscuous on cocaine"

Yes it is. The funny part is that some still think that Trump and American politics are something that matters. Nature is showing us that she is more powerful than we can ever hope to be, we could be extinguished from this planet is a single year. And still people here yammer on about nonsense.

Yes, we know the left is overjoyed watching retires have their retirements smashed, American corporations in need of bailouts, etc. Pain and suffering is all you folks have been rooting for for America over the past 4 years. There will be hell to pay for those that celebrate economic decline in America, as the push back is going to be swift, intense and decisive.

You still believe that silly concepts like "left" and "right" matter at all, and that somehow you are different/better/superior to every other person that is completely helpless in the face of the coronavirus onslaught. I hope this delusion continues to comfort you in the days ahead. The rest of us are going to get busy with the heavy lifting.

I don't think things will turn around until:
(A) There is a mandatory 2 week lock down of America. People are just not "getting it". They continue to invite special friends and family over "because we know them" and engage in other activities.
or
(B) There is a vaccine. Most sources say a year, but maybe it'll happen sooner. A vaccine will change everything.

FWIW, my thinking is that international business simply cannot get back on its feet until the virus is defeated world wide. When Italy, France, Great Britain and so forth get back on their feet so will America.
I agree, I see long lines in gas stations, 15-20 deep, all standing right next to each other! Its NUTS, people dont even care.

I’m just glad that it’s Biden (useless old suit) that is getting the nomination instead of Bernie. This corona crash is going to severely hurt Trumps re-election chances, just glad that it’s not going to usher in full blown socialism as a result. Still hoping Trump can pull it out and see the imminent recovery from this virus. Just a tough hand to be dealt here.

Don't make me laugh. What I hate is bad policies such as irresponsible tax cuts when not needed blowing up the deficit; irresponsible increase in military expenses, humongous to begin with; trade wars that can't be won, (socialistic) subsidies favoring particular industry; telling other countries what to do. And then we have the response to the current crisis...

No sir. Our debt relative to GDP went up under Trump. That's a fact you can take to the bank.

If they're still around after this debacle.

God can’t be this good. Imagine the amount of money I can make if this actually happens.
